My Huskies eat grain - free dog food. Grain - free has always been the best choice for us, as one of my pups, Koda, has a sensitive stomach. The only food that doesn't irritate him or his stomach, has to be grain - free. Aside from that fact, who needs all those grains in a dog food anyway? So let me tell you how SUPER excited I am, to be part of the Nutrience® Subzero Dog Food launch.
My Huskies have been on the regular Nutrience grain - free dog food for quite some time, but I have also done a ton of research on Raw Diets for dogs as well. A raw diet is something I have always been interested in, and I have even dabbled a wee bit into feeding it to my dogs. But I never went straight to raw, as it was just too much of an inconvenience for me, and my particular lifestyle. That's why the best part about Canadian made, Nutrience Subzero dog food, is that it is - a combination of grain - free kibble and freeze dried protein that delivers the nutritional benefits of raw in a convenient and easy to use recipe.
So for those of us who want the benefits of a raw diet, but are in need of a more convenient approach, this new launch of Nutrience Subzero dog food is the perfect solution!
Did you know that you can find Nutrience Subzero dog food at your local Canadian Petsmart®?
So far we know -
- We can now have a food which contains the nutritional benefits of a raw diet right in our dry dog food.
- We can find it at our local Canadian Petsmart.
But what else makes this food so special?
Saturday, November 28'th - you can "Try Subzero For Zero" in store, at Petsmart, as part of the Nutrience Subzero launch. Simply bring in an empty bag of competitor product, (listed in image below) and receive a bag of Subzero food, absolutely FREE!

We've never heard of this food, but we think it sounds perfect for sled dog types and for those of us dogs who live in a sub zero climate like Canada or Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great food, but it is definitely not just for us sled dog types. This is a great food for any dog looking for raw food benefits in a convenient dry dog kibble. It really is fantastic!!!
DeleteA new food and it is available at your Canadian PetSmarts?!? How great is that? And they are having a try it for free event. I hope a lot of people and dogs show up. We can't wait to hear what you think of the food!
ReplyDeleteOz
I'm sure they will! It should be a ton of fun!
DeleteWe just got some Nutrience Subzero at PetSmart and posted about it too. Sounds and looks so good. Kilo the Pug is licking his lips and I really like the Made in Canada, Grain-free, Freeze-dried Raw and other high quality healthy ingredients.
ReplyDeleteI cannot WAIT to try it out on my huskies!!!! I was excited enough to help launch this food, now we are anxiously awaiting to test it out!!!
DeleteI have thought about a raw food diet too but it does seem overwhelming to me. I am exploring options because of Cocoa's tummy issues. We have to be really careful and I want to do the best for her!!
ReplyDeleteThat's just it! It can be overwhelming, that's for sure! That's why I love the fact that Nutrience Subzero makes it easy! With all the benefits of raw food right in this dry kibble... I mean, you can't get any easier than that!
DeleteI have heard amazing things about this food. A friend of mine has a high energy dog that I feel would benefit from this brand - sharing with her. I pinned from here, too - spreading the word!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for pinning, and helping to spread the word! I am looking forward to my second post later this month where I can go into further detail about Subzero. Fantastic food!
DeleteThis sounds like a great food and what an incredible offer. Subzero is the perfect name for food made in Canada with your winters! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more! LOL!
DeleteWe love Nutrience too! Just the ingredients alone is reason to switch.
ReplyDeleteYes!!! the ingredients are amazing, and even compared to other dog food competitors, just fantastic!
DeleteI can't wait to get Bain started on this! I'm still deciding on which flavour for him. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteI know!!!! Me too!
DeleteWe love Nutrience!
ReplyDeleteNutrience is a great food, and now this new Subzero version just makes it even better!
DeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? ;)
DeleteWow, this food sounds lke a winner.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more!
DeleteLove the idea of trying Subzero for zero! I'm always hesitant to buy a full bag of a new food so this let's you sample it a bit!
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly! I'm sure Petsmart will have a great turn out!
DeleteI started feeding our pups a raw diet about 5 months ago and they're doing amazing on it - it took me a little while to figure it all out, but now I got it :-) I do like the idea of adding freeze-dried protein to the kibble - that's a great start to a healthier diet!
ReplyDeleteI agree, and it just makes it so convenient, which is a must in my house! I am glad to hear you have the whole raw thing figured out!
DeleteFreeze-dried is an interesting idea. On the boat we don't always have refrigeration so I've been feeding Honey kibble after many happy years feeding her FreshPet lightly cooked meals.
ReplyDeleteDoubt I'll be anywhere near a Petsmart at the end of November. But I'll look into this a little more. I'll look forward to reading your next post on it.
Right! I think this would be a perfect option for you guys on the boat!
DeleteFabulous review! We are also experimenting with Raw diet given Savvy has IBS in her upper gut; similar to acid reflux in humans.
ReplyDeleteI have acid reflux, and it's definitely no fun at all!
DeleteSo many choices out there. Good to hear about them.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many choices, you're absolutely right! And for me, the #SubZeroDifference makes all the difference in the world!
DeleteI love how they've taken an already great product - grain free - and stepped it up a notch!
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Yes, I agree! i was thrilled to learn of this food!!!!
DeleteThis sounds like a great product. Unfortunately, we just lost our Jake a couple weeks ago and don't see ourselves getting another dog anytime soon. All the best to you and yours, though! Take care now.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am so so sorry to hear that!!! :( :( :(
DeleteWhat a great review
ReplyDeleteThanks! The #SubZeroDifference is huge right now!
DeleteThanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome
