Many of you know yesterday my boy Koda turned 2 years old!!
I promised some FAB birthday photo's and I plan to deliver. Koda is thrilled you all decided to join us for his birthday celebration.
Huge thanks for all these fabulous cards!! |
Before we get started, I would like to give a huge shout out and thanks for all the wonderful, thoughtful cards and birthday greetings Koda received yesterday! I made a collage out of them which you can see above. We were overwhelmed with the amount of people wishing him the happiest of birthdays.
So THANK YOU!!!!!
Koda started his birthday with a trip out into the yard, with a bag full of presents.
You can see what happened in stages above! He was curious, then he started sniffing, then it was full out head in the bag "hey these are mine!" type situation!
Then of course, I got him to pose beside his goodies for a nice birthday shot.
Finally! Time for play! This action shot says it all! He was having a blast with his new toys.
He ran, chased, chewed, and let all his energy out on his new toys.
Koda even took a toy break to chase down a newspaper that blew into the yard during our photo shoot!
Then it was time for cake! Except this year, I did something a little different.
Rather than make him a cake I gave him a huge Elk chew, improvised with a dollop of peanut butter for the candle holder, with a few treats stuck all around it. Needless to say, he loved it!
To finish off the day, my oldest daughter and I took Koda for a nice long hike by the river.
All in all, I think he really enjoyed his birthday, and so did I! He knows when it's his time to be spoiled....more than usual.
Psssssssst - not to worry, the other 2 huskies got their fair share of treats, and play time too!
This weeks sepia contribution features The Ultimate Pet Water Bowl! We are currently running a giveaway for this fantastic product - ENTER THE GIVEAWAY HERE |
Today's letter in the #atozchallenge is P. P is for....presents! Of course. |
Sepia Saturday is hosted by Ruckus The Eskie Co hosted by Earl's World |
