Here in Canada, we still have tons of snow, BUT the weather has been warming up and we know it will be gone far too soon. You all probably think i'm crazy, but I truly do love the winter, and i'm not the only one!
My huskies feel the same way...obviously!
Today is our Pet Parade blog hop, along with Flashback Friday.
I thought it would be a good day to bring back some of my favorite photos from this winter.
"Hey Lexus, did you just see that cat run by?" |
"catch me if you can mom!" |
"Is this what they mean by snow nose?" |
"What? I got something on my face?" |
"catch!" |
"Snow zoomies!" |
"Weeeeeeeeeee" |
"run run as fast as you can!" |
"There mum, will this pose work for your blog post?" |
Even though there were quite a few days that were too cold to play, even for a husky!
The dogs just love running up and down the GI-normous snowbank on the side of our yard, koda loves to play catch with snow balls (yet none of them will play fetch with a ball lol) and the human kids enjoy nothing more than sledding down the hill while the huskies chase them!
What sort of things do you do with your pets in the winter?

My thoughts exactly!
DeleteWe love the snow, but this year we got robbed. While most folks got dumped on, we barely got any snow, and now in a matter of a few days it is all gone. Hoping for a better winter next year.
ReplyDeleteAw that's no fun at all!
DeleteSomeone has to love winter! It sounds like you guys are right for the job :) I'm much more of a warm weather person myself, though I would miss the changing of the seasons if I lived in a warmer climate.
ReplyDelete-Purrs from your friends at www.PlayfulKitty.net
haha! It's a lot of fun playing out in the snow, but I guess I kind of have to feel that way living with 3 sibes!!
DeleteThey really love the snow don't they?
ReplyDeleteYes they do!
DeleteThe Sibe Tribe surely does love the snow! It was fun looking back at your photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteBeing raised here in the Bayou State, we are just not used to really cold weather. We did LOVE our baby blizzard that lasted one day this year! BOL! It is in the 60s and 70s here.
ReplyDeleteBOL! Your baby blizzard made for some great pics anyway!
DeleteWe still have A LOT of snow, not sure if it will ever melt!
ReplyDeletehaha! Here too!!!
DeleteYour huskies sure are made for the cold :-) Love the photos of them in winter wonderland! We didn't get a lot of snow here in NC, but it did get cold, and we also had ice. Yuck. Temperatures have been climbing over the last 10 days, so we are actually excited about that!
ReplyDeleteYep, we always have a blast out in the snow! Maybe it's a Canadian thing?
DeleteWe are all really enjoying the nice weather we are having this week, but how we miss that glorious snow here!!! We never did get very much of it:( But we are thankful for the little we did have.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Aw no doubt my husky pals!!
DeleteCute snow pics! Ours is finally melting - all 2.5 feet of it! We love to play indoor games, and the FiveSibes especially love puzzles (filled with hidden treats!) Happy Flashback Friday!
ReplyDeletePuzzles are definitely a lot o fun!
DeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteTemps here in the southeastern U.S. low country are running in the mid to high 70's (about 23 C). Although it did get up to 89 (31 C) on Tuesday. Some of the blooming things are narcissus, red bud, pear trees, forsythia, tulip magnolias and the first blooms on early blooming azaleas. Willows and other early greening trees are leafing out. Maples have their small red leaves.
Y'all come on by
Hawk aka BrownDog
I know!!! All of your warm sunny photos you post all the time makes me feel like i'm out in the arctic or something!
DeleteIt looks like you've all been having a fun winter! The snow is even more fun to play in now that the weather is a little warmer...I hope it lasts a little longer anyway!
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Definitely agree!!!
DeleteIt's been warmer here and a lot of our snow has melted. Guess we're not like huskies because we're glad to see it go.
ReplyDeleteI bet my kitties feel the same way!
DeleteOur yard is still COVERED in the white stuff. Three feet deep is some parts. But the peep went to the grocery store today and found that where there was a mountain of snow in the parkin' lot last week, the snow was all gone. Not a trace! I'm thinkin' there's a mystery apaw, for sure.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Nissy
Ohhhhh I do love a good mystery!
DeleteOur snow is almost all gone and we are ready for Spring. Looks like the Huskies are enjoying the late season snow.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, they sure are!
DeleteThose pictures have me cracking up! I also love snow, and winter, but am actually ready for Spring!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the pics :) Pics of my huskies in the snow are always my fav. They just...go together I suppose.
DeleteI feel like we got majorly jipped on our winter this year, I think thats why i'm not ready for it to go just yet. We didn't have snow for the longest time, then we finally get some, but it is FREEZING cold! Too cold even for my huskies, and finally when it starts acting like a normal winter, it's almost spring :(
awesome snow fun. ours is all gone at our place, yeah moving on to training.
ReplyDeletehaha! All gone there already? Wow!
